National Student Volunteer Week - Challenge Yourself, Be The Change, Celebrate Each Other
Monday, 13 August 2018, marks the start of National Student Volunteer Week – an annual celebration of the contribution student volunteers make to causes and communities. Across Australia, students in universities and educational institutes will be taking part in a range of activities aimed at showcasing everything volunteering involves, while introducing students to the benefits and impact of volunteering. The theme for the week is “Challenge Yourself, Be The Change, Celebrate Each Other.”
This week-long event highlights the diverse range of opportunities available to students who want to give something back to their community, develop new skills, or build on existing knowledge. Events are held across the country, and at (INSERT NAME OF YOUR UNIVERSITY/EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE) we’ve got a number of activities planned, including (INSERT ACTIVITIES).
