Wellbeing in Nature - Sharpes Beach

Do you need some time to focus on your own health and wellbeing?

Although every situation is different, it is important for people to take some time out to look after their own wellbeing. Wellbeing in nature is a program built for this purpose. This is a peer-support program that combines health and social interaction with conservation. Participants engage in meaningful nature-based activities, helping to build social connections between people who aim to let nature provide wellbeing in their lives.

A welcoming and flexible program, Wellbeing in nature is a way to connect with nature while improving fitness and wellbeing. Set within the stunning scenery of the Skennars Head coastline, activities include growing seedlings, dune revegetation, light hand weeding and learning about native plants and wildlife and their care. The location offers lots of opportunities to take in the view, embark on guided coastal walks, dabble in some nature photography and meet like-minded people.

In this tranquil environment, Wellbeing in nature is an opportunity to focus on your own health.

A healthy morning tea will be provided with each session. The venue is close to all amenities, and transport can be arranged.

Conservation Volunteers Australia would like to attract student volunteers to join their projects, to provide them with some practical, worthwhile conservation experience, networking in the field and get them out connecting with nature.
