National Student Volunteer Week is held every year to celebrate and recognise the substantial contribution that student volunteers make to their local communities.
As part of National Student Volunteer Week, UWA, Curtin, Notre Dame, ECU and Murdoch universities will join forces to undertake a beach clean-up at C Y O'Connor Beach on 17th August. Under the expert guidance of Perth NRM, the inter-university team of 100 student volunteers will remove common pervasive weeds from the dunes and clear up any litter and marine debris, creating a once again pristine environment in this beautiful coastal area.
