On Saturday 13 August an inter-university event has been organised by the Volunteering WA Tertiary Community Engagement Committee - a networking group comprising student representatives from each WA university that comes together to share ideas, learn from one another and discuss the latest trends and research in student community engagement through volunteering, community service and service learning.
On the day nearly 100 university students from Curtin University, Murdoch University, University of Notre Dame Australia, Edith Cowan University and University of Western Australia will join hands with the Friends of Lake Claremont to help plant, and restore this important ecosystem and turn it into a thriving environment that can be enjoyed by everyone.
All students are invited to register to participate in this fun environmental inter-university volunteer event.
