“Volunteering Come and Try Day” aims to invite Swinburne students to find out what it is like to volunteer. They will be running a taster day where students can get involved with no commitment.

The day will start at 11:30am at Swinburne, Hawthorn Campus with student volunteers sharing their experience in volunteering followed by a free lunch and an opportunity for students to try out some small volunteering tasks.

The event will run from 11:30am to 3:30pm with different activities happening at the same time, such as packing lolly bags for Swinburne RUOK day event and helping out at Salvos Stores in the area.

Volunteering is surely a rewarding experience and a great way to give back to the community and make friends. It is an excellent way to gain new skills and knowledge.
