Volunteer Expo - Waterfront Campus, Darwin
- A selection of volunteer organisations are invited onto campus to have an expo-style event where they promote their volunteering opportunities to students.
- Organisations invited to bring along activities/tasks that will help their organisation (sewing possum pouches for WildCare NT, making cards for the elderly/refugees/new migrants for Red Cross, helping pack welcome packs for new arrivals for Melaleuca, folding brochures for Vinnies etc).
- CDU Careers Centre will be there doing Resume checking and advising on how to incorporate volunteering into students' resumes.
- A networking booth will be available to give advice/tips and help students practise communicating with people they don't know.
