To celebrate National Student Volunteer Week, Edith Cowan University (ECU) will be hosting a roundtable discussion on Friday 12 August at the Joondalup Campus to discuss key issues in volunteering and how ECU can work with your organisation to create volunteering opportunities with employability outcomes for students.
This event also provides a forum for you to network with students, ECU staff and industry colleagues and be inspired by ECU’s recent volunteering success with international organisation Enactus.
The ECU Enactus team spent thousands of hours volunteering on projects dedicated to assisting senior citizens with technology and reducing rubbish going into landfill. The team will head to Canada for the international competition after winning the national championships with their entrepreneurial volunteering program that directly benefited local communities.
Places are limited and bookings are essential, the event will include a light morning tea and networking event after the panel.
