NATIONAL TREE DAY EVENT at Belmont Wetlands State Park

Students, come along and be a part of an Australia wide initiative.

Conservation Volunteers Australia's Better Earth Team, Newcastle will be supporting Belmont Wetlands State Park Trust who are planting trees to increase and improve the biodiversity values of the Belmont Wetlands State Park.

The wetlands and surrounding area represent the largest remaining coastal wetland system in Lake Macquarie LGA. Three of the wetlands are protected under NSW State Environmental Planning Policy (SEPP) 14 - (Coastal Wetlands) policy.
