Join Conservation Volunteers at their nursery, and enjoy the benefits of being active. Learn how to process seeds and raise seedlings for revegetation activities preserving local species and biodiversity, while meeting new people and learning new skills.
Volunteers will need to meet at the council depot (near the big wind generator).
You will need to bring and wear strong work boots (preferably with a steel toe), long pants, long sleeves, gardening gloves, a wide brimmed hat and waterproof jacket (if it’s a wet day), a water bottle, lunch and sunscreen.
Immerse yourself in nature, recharge your batteries, and renew your connection with the land. Gain a better appreciation and understanding of conservation.
