Immerse yourself in beautiful native bushland for three days, while helping Conservation Volunteers to undertake monitoring and maintenance activities that will contribute to the protection of the Southern Hairy-nosed Wombats and their habitat.
Brookfield is managed by Conservation Volunteers Australia, which gives volunteers the opportunity to see parts of the park that are not open to the public. Joining this project allows fantastic insight into the challenges of managing conservation areas, as well as an understanding of the research that is being undertaken by scientists, students and volunteers to assist with long-term management strategies for populations of wombats in the region, particularly taking into account changing climate conditions.
Cost $80 for 3-days/2-nights which covers all food, accommodation and transportation between Adelaide and Brookfield Conservation Park. Discounts are available for Australian full-time students.
