QUT Connect NSVW (Virtual) Celebration
Happening 12th August, this Virtual celebration is a chance to thank all of our volunteers who may not be able to make it to campus for all their efforts in our regular and adapted Orientation Week initiatives for 2020. In 2020, we have run on campus workshops as well as Zoom sessions for students commencing their tertiary studies, all with the help of our super adaptable, versatile volunteers. Whether it was through online or on-campus training, our volunteers were upskilled to provide a welcome to commencing students at QUT in a range of different environments and this is one chance for us to say thank you.
QUT Connect NSVW (On-Campus) Celebration
For those comfortable coming to campus, we’re organising a socially distant coffee catchup in our beautiful Botanic Gardens for volunteers who have helped out in our Orientation initiatives and events this year, some of whom may not have been able to catch up in person for some time. Happening 13th August, it’s an important time for us to say thank you to those who have adapted with us and put in so much effort to ensure our program goals of providing a welcoming environment to commencing students and all at QUT have been able to be met in a challenging year.
