Held every year to celebrate and recognise the substantial contribution that student volunteers make to their local communities, National Student Volunteer Week is hosting yet again, for the third year in a row, an event to help save the ecosystem at Lake Claremont.
Students and staff from Western Australian Universities (Curtin, Murdoch, Notre Dame and UWA) will join hands with the Friends of Lake Claremont (FOLC) to help plant and restore the Lake itself.
So together on Saturday 8th August, from 9:30am - 1:30pm, come along to rescue the Lake from its previous life as a rubbish dump and turn it into a thriving ecosystem that can be enjoyed by everyone!
